Bravo's Virtual Book Fair is here!

Take advantage of the FREE shipping on book orders $25+ and shop for the whole family! Parents: 20 minutes a day of reading ... What will that do for your child? Reading 20 minutes a day will expose them to 1,800,000 words per year and make it more likely for them to score higher on standardized tests!  Bravo Medical Magnet will be hosting a virtual book fair with Scholastic, Inc. starting on Tuesday, September 29th to Monday, October 12th.

Food Services’ Grab and Go

This is a reminder that Food Services’ Grab and Go locations offer free breakfast, lunch and supper meals to LAUSD students, parents and community members to take home.  Please visit a Grab and Go location near you and take advantage of these meals. We are open from 7 am – 10 am weekdays.  You can find Grab and Go locations and our menus on our website at https://achieve.lausd.net/cafela

Attention All Bravo Students:

Physical Education Supplies and Spirit Gear are available for purchase.  Contact the school for specific info and to schedule an appointment.

  • PE supplies are not mandatory at this time but encouraged as you will need them when we return to campus.
  • Items will be available for purchase in front of the school entrance. Social distancing and safety protocols will apply while purchasing items.
  • Items will not be available on Junior and Senior distribution day. Please contact the Student Store to make arrangements.

Los Angeles Unified Launches Mental Health Hotline To Help Students and Families

The phone hotline – 213-241-3840 – will be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, staffed by counselors and mental health professionals to provide support in both English and Spanish. Teachers can also call and get advice on how to connect their students to services. Questions can also be sent to mentalhealth@lausd.net.
