Los Angeles Unified is providing COVID-19 testing for all students and staff:

All students and employees, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, participating in in-person instruction must participate in ongoing weekly COVID-19 testing. This is in accordance with the most recent guidance from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. 

 

Tests are free, quick, easy, and your personal information will remain confidential!

While appointments are encouraged, no appointment is needed for Los Angeles Unified COVID-19 tests.
Operating hours for Monday, January 3 through Friday, January 7: 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Operating hours for Saturday, January 8: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Walk-Up Testing Locations (Starting January 3)

Between Monday, January 3 and Monday, January 10, COVID-19 testing for employees and students will be offered at additional locations throughout each Local District. Operating hours at these sites are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students and employees can walk-up to any of these sites without an appointment.

Testing through School-Assigned Mobile Teams

In addition to these sites, mobile testing teams will be visiting schools to test student and staff on a weekly basis.

Bravo Students, the Mobile Vaccine Unit is coming to Bravo High School.
Please use the Daily Pass to make an appointment, walk-ins are also welcomed. The Mobile Unit will be offering first dose, second doses, and boosters.

  • All L.A. County residents age 12 years and older, regardless of immigration status are eligible. 
  • No appointment needed. See registration for locations.* 
  • Vaccine is free, no health insurance needed. 
  • Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson available.
 

*Eligible Angelenos can still book an appointment for a vaccination at Coronavirus.LACity.org/GetVaccinated or by calling 1-833-540-0473.

The COVID vaccine is safe and effective in lowering the chance of death and severe illness from COVID-19. Vaccinations are free, no insurance is necessary, and are available to all Los Angeles County residents, regardless of immigration status. 

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, you can sign up for a free COVID test here:  Coronavirus.LACity.org/Testing. You are not eligible for a vaccine unless you are symptom-free. Please consult your healthcare provider if you have further questions.

School Experience Survey

 

The School Experience Survey is an annual survey administered in the fall to all LAUSD schools. Survey results provide schools with important feedback from teachers, staff, students and parents. If you have any questions about the School Experience Survey, please send an email to schoolexperiencesurvey@lausd.net or call (213) 241-5600.

 

Student Surveys

Students in grades 4 through 12 will be emailed their own personal link to access the survey along with the following instructions:

 

For Students to take the survey:

  1. Please click this link: [UNIQUE LINK EMAILED TO EACH STUDENT]
  2. Once you are on the survey home page, select your current grade level.
  3. Click on the “Next” button near the bottom of the page to begin the survey.
  4. If you are unable to access the survey, please ask your teacher for help.

Note: Students who enrolled after September 21, 2020, should not participate in the survey. They will not receive an email and they will not be able to log into the survey. Schools are encouraged to a designate a day and time for students to complete the SES. Students also have the option of taking the survey during a non-instructional time of their choosing.

 

 

Parent ONLINE Surveys

To protect the health and safety of LAUSD families and school staff, parents should complete their surveys online.

To access the online Parent Survey, they will:

  1. Go to http://achieve.lausd.net/schoolexperiencesurvey
  2. Choose their child’s school from a drop-down menu.
  3. Take the survey
  4. Take a screen shot of the “Thank You” page if they need proof that they completed the survey.

Staff Surveys

Staff who work at least 50% FTE (teachers, principals, and out of classroom personnel) are expected to participate. Staff will access the online Staff Survey by clicking on the Staff link at http://achieve.lausd.net/schoolexperiencesurvey  and follow the instructions below:

  1. Select your school and role (e.g., teacher, counselor, other) from a dropdown menu.
  2. Complete the survey
  3. Take a screen shot of the “Thank You” page to give to your administrator if you need proof that you completed the survey.

Note: No login required once staff access the survey home page.
