Physical Education Supplies and Spirit Gear will be available for purchase on scheduled textbook distribution days.

  • PE supplies are not mandatory at this time but encouraged as you will need them when we return to campus.
  • Items will be available for purchase in front of the school entrance. Social distancing and safety protocols will apply while purchasing items.
  • Items will not be available on Junior and Senior distribution day. Please contact the Student Store to make arrangements.

As LAUSD announced that we do not expect to return to school this semester, we are asking you to give us feedback on your technology needs so that your learning can continue.

Los Angeles Unified Launches Mental Health Hotline To Help Students and Families

The phone hotline – 213-241-3840 – will be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, staffed by counselors and mental health professionals to provide support in both English and Spanish. Teachers can also call and get advice on how to connect their students to services. Questions can also be sent to mentalhealth@lausd.net.

1.    Attention Students:  East Los Angeles College will be offering courses here at Bravo after school beginning in February 2020.  They are:
Art 201 (Drawing)    Psychology 1    
Health 62 (Medical Terminology)    Health 64 (Health Care)

2.    Attention Students:  After school tutoring is available M, W, Th.  Please refer to flyer around the school to the days and subject you need support is offered.  Thank You. (Mrs. Williams-Wakasa, 9/27-11/22

3.    Important Senior Announcement:  If you took the senior portraits and have not gone to the website to choose your pictures.  Please do so before November 20th.  If you do not, Fotorama will choose the photo for you. has been posted.   (Mr. Martinez, 11/18-11/20)

4.    If you enjoy running- join the Track Team next semester.  Tryouts will be after Thanksgiving break.  You need a physical exam cleared by the nurse in order to tryout and an emergency card. (Mr. Russell, 11/15-11/22)

5.    Come support the Boys Basketball team at all their home games.  Snacks and drinks will be for sale at all home games.  All home games are free.(Mr. Cadena, 11/18-2/7)

6.    Help Bravo grow its garden by donating to our garden drive.  We are in need of gardening gloves, scissors, rakes, watering cans, hoses, buckets, shovels, aprons, organic mulch, soil, and much more.  We do not need fertilizers or pesticides.  Any spare equipment in great condition should be given I room 316 from December 2nd to December 6th in the morning from 7:30 to 7:50 am and afterschool from 3:15 to 4:00 pm.  Throughout this week Environmental Studies’ fourth period can pick up the donations by calling room 316.  Those who contributed by donating will be entered into a raffle for free succulent plants and a lucky winner will receive a 50-dollar gift card.  Now is your chance to contribute and help our school garden thrive.
