1.    Hey Bravo Knights!  Donate gently worn jeans to homeless teens! Help for Hope is hosting the Denim Drive Boxes will be on the 2nd and 4th floor.  Colored, ripped, and short jeans are all okay.  Donating a pair will give you entry in for a raffle- $60 for Spotify premium.  This event will run from January 31st until February 21st.  (Ms. Amrhein, 1/31-2/21)


2.    Good evening, Mariachi Bravo will be having serenatas on Valentine’s Day for $8 to make that special someone know how much they mean to you. (Mr. Leal, 1/22-2/22)


3.    Attention all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students!  The California Scholarship Federation is now accepting applications for the Spring Semester.  If you are interested, please pick up an application from Room 304.  Application are due on Thursday, February 13th and Friday, February 14th at the student store.  (Mrs. Martinez, 2/6-2/14)

4.    If you enjoy running- join the Track Team next semester.  Tryouts will be after Thanksgiving break.  You need a physical exam cleared by the nurse in order to tryout and an emergency card. (Mr. Russell, 11/15-11/22)

5.    Come support the Boys Basketball team at all their home games.  Snacks and drinks will be for sale at all home games.  All home games are free.(Mr. Cadena, 11/18-2/7)

6.    Help Bravo grow its garden by donating to our garden drive.  We are in need of gardening gloves, scissors, rakes, watering cans, hoses, buckets, shovels, aprons, organic mulch, soil, and much more.  We do not need fertilizers or pesticides.  Any spare equipment in great condition should be given I room 316 from December 2nd to December 6th in the morning from 7:30 to 7:50 am and afterschool from 3:15 to 4:00 pm.  Throughout this week Environmental Studies’ fourth period can pick up the donations by calling room 316.  Those who contributed by donating will be entered into a raffle for free succulent plants and a lucky winner will receive a 50-dollar gift card.  Now is your chance to contribute and help our school garden thrive. 2.    Attention Seniors:  If you are planning on taking the ACT this fall see Mr. Maletz for a fee waiver.  You must register before August 31, 2019 to be able to use the fee waiver. (Mr. Maletz 8/26 – 8/29)

3.    Attention Seniors: For the annual event Adopt-A-Freshman head to the outside cafeteria during lunch on September 2nd through September 4th.  Freshman this is an opportunity to be guided and mentored by a senior who knows Bravoland quite well.  So, head out and find yourself a senior. 4.    Attention Fostering Seniors & Adopted Freshman:  Come to the outside cafeteria on September 5th & 6th during lunch to play a series of games to form a strong bond between you and your new friend. (Ms. Luna 9/4 – 9/6)

1.    ADVANCED PLACEMENT- UNITED STATES HISTORY: All 10th graders interested in being enrolled in AP US History in August 2019 must attend an informational meeting in room 112 at lunch on either April 10th - April 12, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday this week.  Meet Mr. Smith and Mr. Fritch and find out more about College Level History Course being offered here at Bravo High School. 4.    Attention all 10th grade students!  Do you want to know what it’s like to work as a member of a USC Science Biomedical Engineering Research Lab?  Learn more about these opportunities by joining the USC-Bravo STAR & EHA Program!  You are invited to an informational meeting and presentations by Senior Research Assistants on APRIL 11th periods 1-6 in the Computer Room 422.  See Mrs. Hollinshead in the Counseling Office or Mrs. Ramirez-De La Cruz in room 414 for an activities clearance form to be able to attend one period of your choice.
