Seniors, Listen Up:  Do you need help filling out the FAFSA or California Dream Act application?  Then write this date down.  Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm. at East Los Angeles College.  There will be experts there to help you fill out your FAFSA or Dream Act application.  Students will also have a chance to win a $1000 scholarship by just attending.  For a flyer, stop by the College Center. 3.    Good Morning Bravo Knights!  Are you looking to get volunteer hours?  Well, just your luck.  Club M.D. is partnering with LAC & USC’s 6th Annual Kidz Health Fair on Saturday, October 12th, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  If you would like to sign up, search the account @ bravoclubm.d on Instagram click the link in the bio or sign up with Ms. Dypiangco in the Magnet Office. 1.    Attention Students:  East Los Angeles College will be offering courses here at Bravo after school beginning in September 9th, 2019.  They are:
Art 201 (Drawing), Psychology 1, Health 63 (Medical Terminology), Health 64 (Cultural & Legal Topics) and Counseling 1 (Senior ONLY).

If interested pick up an application in the College Center and turn it in by Wednesday, September 29th. (Mr. Maletz 8/26-9/29)

2.    Attention Seniors:  If you are planning on taking the ACT this fall see Mr. Maletz for a fee waiver.  You must register before August 31, 2019 to be able to use the fee waiver. (Mr. Maletz 8/26 – 8/29)

3.    Attention Seniors: For the annual event Adopt-A-Freshman head to the outside cafeteria during lunch on September 2nd through September 4th.  Freshman this is an opportunity to be guided and mentored by a senior who knows Bravoland quite well.  So, head out and find yourself a senior. (Ms. Luna 8/26- 9/4)

4.    Attention Fostering Seniors & Adopted Freshman:  Come to the outside cafeteria on September 5th & 6th during lunch to play a series of games to form a strong bond between you and your new friend. (Ms. Luna 9/4 – 9/6)

5.    Attention Bravo Knights!  Are you interested in joining a club?  I so, head out to the outdoor basketball courts on September 18th and 20th to sign up and support during lunch.  Hope to see you there. (Ms. Luna 9/9-9/20)

1.    ADVANCED PLACEMENT- UNITED STATES HISTORY: All 10th graders interested in being enrolled in AP US History in August 2019 must attend an informational meeting in room 112 at lunch on either April 10th - April 12, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday this week.  Meet Mr. Smith and Mr. Fritch and find out more about College Level History Course being offered here at Bravo High School. (Mr. Smith, 4/9-4/12)

 

2.    Attention Seniors & Senior Teachers:  Tuesday, April 23 after spring break.  Please were your senior shirt for your panorama picture and report directly at the beginning of 4th period to the gym.  Everyone must bring their senior t-shirt. (Mrs. Marks, 4/11-4/23)

 

3.    Attention 9th graders!  Are you interested in taking AP World History next year?  There will be mandatory informational meetings held on, Tuesday, April 9th, Wednesday, April 10th and Thursday, April 11th.  Meetings are at lunch in room 102.  Attend only one. (Ms. Starling, 4/2-4/11)

 

4.    Attention all 10th grade students!  Do you want to know what it’s like to work as a member of a USC Science Biomedical Engineering Research Lab?  Learn more about these opportunities by joining the USC-Bravo STAR & EHA Program!  You are invited to an informational meeting and presentations by Senior Research Assistants on APRIL 11th periods 1-6 in the Computer Room 422.  See Mrs. Hollinshead in the Counseling Office or Mrs. Ramirez-De La Cruz in room 414 for an activities clearance form to be able to attend one period of your choice. 5.    Attention All Students:  The counselors are still in the process of calling students for programming.  The order you get called in doesn’t affect your selection of classes.  If you’re called first or last, you have the same chance to get your classes.  Please be patient.  You will get called in.  Thanks.
