1.    ADVANCED PLACEMENT- UNITED STATES HISTORY: All 10th graders interested in being enrolled in AP US History in August 2019 must attend an informational meeting in room 112 at lunch on either April 10th - April 12, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday this week.  Meet Mr. Smith and Mr. Fritch and find out more about College Level History Course being offered here at Bravo High School. (Mr. Smith, 4/9-4/12)

 

2.    Attention Seniors & Senior Teachers:  Tuesday, April 23 after spring break.  Please were your senior shirt for your panorama picture and report directly at the beginning of 4th period to the gym.  Everyone must bring their senior t-shirt. (Mrs. Marks, 4/11-4/23)

 

3.    Attention 9th graders!  Are you interested in taking AP World History next year?  There will be mandatory informational meetings held on, Tuesday, April 9th, Wednesday, April 10th and Thursday, April 11th.  Meetings are at lunch in room 102.  Attend only one. (Ms. Starling, 4/2-4/11)

 

4.    Attention all 10th grade students!  Do you want to know what it’s like to work as a member of a USC Science Biomedical Engineering Research Lab?  Learn more about these opportunities by joining the USC-Bravo STAR & EHA Program!  You are invited to an informational meeting and presentations by Senior Research Assistants on APRIL 11th periods 1-6 in the Computer Room 422.  See Mrs. Hollinshead in the Counseling Office or Mrs. Ramirez-De La Cruz in room 414 for an activities clearance form to be able to attend one period of your choice. 5.    Attention All Students:  The counselors are still in the process of calling students for programming.  The order you get called in doesn’t affect your selection of classes.  If you’re called first or last, you have the same chance to get your classes.  Please be patient.  You will get called in.  Thanks. 1. Start your summer off on the right foot… volunteer! A volunteer opportunity that counts for your community service hours is available here at Bravo on Saturday, June 16. The Bravo Alumni Association is holding their 2nd Annual Reunion and would appreciate having Bravo students help at the event. Please come to the Magnet Office to sign up and for more information. (Mrs. Dypiangco, 6/1 – 6/8)

2. Tuesday during lunch, at Ms. Faloppa’s room, Red Cross Club members please pick up your shirts! (Mrs. White-Holloman, 6/5)

3. Attention Juniors intending to enroll in AP English Literature next year. The summer assignment is available. Come pick it up in room 310 this week. (Mr. Marks, 6/4 -6/7)

4. Join AP Environmental Science for their first Annual Supply Drive and Locker Clean-Up on June 7th during first period. Although not mandatory, we encourage all teachers and students to participate. We’ll be collecting school supplies you no longer need, which will then be redistributed and reused by future students. Any unwanted classwork and homework can be recycled in the designated bins throughout the hallways. Please take your materials to our student-run collection stations for a chance tp win a special prize! (Ms. Ericksen, 6/1 – 6/7)

5. If you missed Cross Country tryouts, you can still try-out on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jun e 12th and 13th from 3 – 5 p.m. in the park. Remember – you need a cleared physical from the nurse and an emergency card. (Mr. Russell, 5/30 – 6/7)
