WORLD HISTORY CONTENT

Welcome to World History! This course is much more than memorising people, events, and places.Rather this area of study encourages analysis from diverse perspectives to reach a greater degree of understanding of how the past came into being, from its own past and how that sequence continues on and on, which ultimately leads to all matter of today and in turn shapes the future of the world. With connections leading to the 15th century the breadth of modern history leading to today will be studied.

 

Grades will be based on one or another or combination of assignments, tests, collaborative work and other activities on a weekly basis with the secondary scale of 100-90%=A, 89-80%=B, 79-70%=C, 69-60%=D, 59-0%=F.

 

All bylaws of the federal, state, county, LAUSD, and Bravo High School will be adhered to for a safe productive learning environment
