3/19/20

Bravo Class of 2020 - Senior Updates

  • Speeches and Class Song: Those who indicated an interest in the senior survey were sent an email with directions for the class speech, song, and National Anthem. Try outs begin today.
  • Senior Item distribution: June 8-12, 2020 are the expected dates to distribute Cap & Gowns, Yearbook, panorama Pictures, Stoles, and t-shirts (if you did not pick up). At this time, you are also expected to bring in any Bravo/LAUSD items you may have in your possession. Should all items arrive sooner, we will adjust start date.
  • Drive thru Caravan Celebration: Scheduled for June 15, 2020 time TBD. More detailed information coming soon.
  • Virtual Graduation: June 16, 2020 at 6:00 pm. More detailed information regarding access coming soon: Please have all information updated (address & contact info). Can update on Parent Portal
  • Senior fee refunds:  Refunds are being mailed out, please assure address on MISIS.
  • Scheduling of locker item pick up and dropping off of books: You will receive a communication (email or phone call). If you need your book(s) longer than your expected drop off date, please let us know when we contact you.
  • Share a message/picture: Feel free to share a memory of this school year by posting a picture or message on Schoology. It can be of yourself, with friend(s), a group, a team, or a club.
  • Stay informed and connected: Senior Advisors, Counselors, College Advisor, and school staff are posting important information.
  • Check into Schoology, your email, and Bravo website daily.
  • Check out Bravo's Class of 2020 along with LAUSD Classes of 2020 on the We Soar! page!

As LAUSD announced that we do not expect to return to school this semester, we are asking you to give us feedback on your technology needs so that your learning can continue.

Los Angeles Unified Launches Mental Health Hotline To Help Students and Families

The phone hotline – 213-241-3840 – will be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, staffed by counselors and mental health professionals to provide support in both English and Spanish. Teachers can also call and get advice on how to connect their students to services. Questions can also be sent to mentalhealth@lausd.net.

Principal's Message

Update on Latest News about the Coronavirus (COVID-19)


Dear Bravo Families,


Parents please ensure that your son or daughter are connecting with every one of their teachers every day.   All Bravo teachers are continuing with instruction online for all of their students.  They will also begin taking attendance every Tuesday and Thursday. Your child is expected to continue the work for each of the courses he/she is enrolled in.  All teachers have now completed two weeks worth of work online using various platforms.  However, at minimum, your child should connect with every teacher through Schoology.  You as a parent have the ability to check work completed using the parent portal.  If you have not yet activated your parent portal account, please do so as soon as possible.   If you don't have your PIN number, you can call the office on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The school building is closed but teaching and learning continue.   Help your child stay connected.


Thank you for supporting our efforts to maintain a healthy and safe environment for all members of Bravo community.  I will continue to provide you with information as it becomes available.
