Principals' Message

Hello Bravo Knights!

We begin a new school year filled with hope, gratitude, and expectations for our story, as a Bravo family, to strengthen and expand academic and socio-emotional learning for every single one of our students.   We are a family that holds ourselves to a high level of expectations and accountability.  However, we are a family that supports each other in our learning walk.   We celebrate our many successes and reflect on the areas where we can show stronger and consistent outcomes.   Our successes for the school year 2017-2018 were many. Here are a few:

      * 95.1% graduation rate

      * 90% of our assessed students meet or exceeded standards in Language Arts

      * 52% of our assessed students meet or exceeded standards in mathematics

      * 72% reclassification rate for students learning English as a second language

      * Matriculation rates reaching capacity

Congratulations for a job well done.   We still have work to do.   We will continue to strive for 100% of our students to earn a high school diploma.  We want every single one of our students to be ready and able to succeed in a post-secondary program of their choice.   We strive to provide opportunities for all students to explore and experience health careers and professions.   We understand that to reach our goals, we need to partner with other learning and professional institutions, with our parents, with our elected leaders, and the community at large.   We strive to make learning rigorous yet relevant, standards based, yet connected, and measurable yet connected.   We promote and protect the physical and emotional well-being of our students.   We are grateful to everyone who contributes to make this possible: faculty, support staff, cafeteria staff, plant staff, parents, volunteers, clerical staff, administrators, alumni, and then some.   I am humbled and inspired to serve in this great endeavor with each and every one of you.  I look forward to an even more successful academic year.   GO KNIGHTS!
