Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!!!

Bravo families and friends,

We are excited to welcome you to our beautiful school.  Bravo Medical Magnet High School has continued its tradition of high academic achievement and keeping a safe and nurturing environment, even during the recent pandemic.   Last year we were recognized as a California Pivotal School of Practice for our innovative and creative way of adapting our programs to meet the challenges of distance learning and our Linked Learning Patient Care Pathway earned Gold Certification from the Linked Learning Alliance.   We were also recognized as a school in the top 10% of American schools by the News World Report.  We faced the multiple challenges of the pandemic knowing we needed to model what we wanted students to do, persevere!  Our students persevered last year and every enrolled senior for the class of 2022 successfully graduated.

We are ready to begin a new opportunity to provide our students with a rigorous academic environment while receiving supports when needed.   You play an important role by giving us current information of your student’s needs.  To actively partner with us, I strongly encourage you to activate your parent portal account, access Schoology regularly, visit our school’s website, and attend the multiple opportunities designed for parents to help us make decisions and direction for our school.   Your opinion matters and is important to help us stay coherent and relevant.

We also partner with multiple community institutions and organizations to bring our vision to life, give every student the opportunity to experience and learn about the multiple health careers and professions.   We partner with USC Keck School of Medicine, LAC -USC County Hospital, USC School of Nursing, Alta Med, the LA County Public Health Department, and more.

Thank you for your continued support to our school and stay connected.

Luis M. Lopez, Ed.D., Principal
